The City of Atlanta maintains an extensive collection of maps which have been produced in support of city operations and community activities. The majority of these maps are made available to the public through this site. The maps have been made over a period of years and many do not reflect current conditions (e.g., political and administrative boundaries), but are retained for the purpose of historical record. When viewing the maps, be sure to note the publication date. Most maps are in PDF format.

The Map Catalog is an on-line collection of maps produced through GIS technology within the city government. The maps in the catalog are categorized by subject area to help you locate a particular map. Maps can also be searched by keywords. Information is provided with each cataloged map such as size and publication date. A thumbnail image of each map is provided for easy browsing. The full-size map can be opened by clicking on the thumbnail image. Most maps are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing on-line.
